Jumbleberry/Carousel/Pipeline Overview

Jumbleberry is an affiliate network that specializes in connecting brands and performance marketers in a cpa (cost per action) or cps (cost per sale) model.

As their website states:

We help direct‑to‑consumer brands acquire customers in paid media channels under a fixed cost‑per‑acquisition model.

It continues:

We are not an agency. We are a fully managed customer acquisition engine for D2C brands with access to hundreds of media buyers. What is the difference? The difference is our compensation is based solely on performance. Meaning you only pay a fixed, agreed-upon fee for every customer we help you acquire. Simple as that.

Jumbleberry’s performance marketers may include influencers, but also media buyers, who run traffic to Jumbleberry’s offers through paid traffic networks like Facebook, Instagram, Revcontent, Taboola, Outbrain, YouTube, and more.

On the other side, they work with brands (aka offer owners), whose offers are then run by the performance marketers in question.

As per their website, here are some of the platform’s core features:

-Angle Development

-Content Creation

-Tracking and Reporting

-Profit Maximization

-Compliance and Brand Integrity

-Scale Worldwide

To cater to the specific needs of their clients, Jumbleberry launched two specialized platforms, Carousel (“a new approach to performance marketing”) and Pipeline (for affiliates and advertisers in nutra, health & beauty, e-comm), in February 2020.

While the exact differences between Carousel and Pipeline appear somewhat ambiguous on the Jumbleberry site, it appears that Carousel may specialize more in high-profile brands that require greater levels of oversight and compliance.
